Emily the Strange: The Lost Days
2009 HarperCollins
Describe the most compelling aspect of the book: The most compelling aspect must have been what cuss words Earwig used. She didn't actually cuss, but used strange words like, "Blogyam!" and "DOUBLEBRICKING GOBFARX!"
Should this be nominated for Teens' Top Ten? Yes.
This book was addicting in a, well, strange way. The lists and illustrations fit right along with the story and, I admit, I probably would have not liked the book as much without them.
Rating? 5 Hard to imagine a better book
Annotation: Earwig is a young who seems to have amnesia. To recover from it, she must search the town of Blackrock for clues about her past and what she was sent to do.
Additional Comments: I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THIS BOOK AT THE END OF THE YEAR.

Rating: 4 Better than most
I liked the cover I thought it showed the contents.
That Emily wakes up and she doesn't know who she is or why she's here.
I wasn't disappointed.
